August 14, 2009 - Nintendo of America said that the upcoming DS/DSi remakes of Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, shipping in Japan next month, will be released in the US and Europe this Spring 2010.
Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver are remakes of the Game Boy Color title and will feature enhanced graphics, sound and contain a bunch of new items and options not found in the original.

hey guys, i just read that the two remakes of gold/silver (heart gold and soul silver) have already been decided on a release date. in Japan they have already been released, in USA the expected release date is Spring 2010, around march or april, and in europe it comes around summer 2010. the remake is alot better than the original game for gameboy color. now in the DS it has new story events, and it includes the pokemon from the Houen and Sinnoh regions too. there is a rumored special event in which you can catch Arceus in the game as well. i believe this will be the best pokemon game yet.
