What is it used for?

Pokemon Platinum - Thick Club raises Cubone or Marowak’ attack by a whopping 200%.  If you own these Pokemon, you owe it to them to get a Thick Club!!

How do you get a Thick Club?  You have to capture a Wild Cubone who is carrying one.
